Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data Mint SEO collects, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We keep data collection to the minimum we need to answer your enquiry and run our website.
Who we are
Mint SEO Ltd (“Mint SEO”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller responsible for your personal data. We are a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 11923734).
- Address: Bartle House, 9 Oxford Court, Manchester, M2 3WQ
- Email: contact@mintseo.co.uk
- Phone: 07729 728036
What data we collect
We only collect data you actively give us, plus anonymised analytics about how the site is used.
- Enquiry data — when you complete a contact or consultation form we collect your name, email address, phone number, the service you’re interested in, and the contents of your message.
- Usage data — via Google Analytics 4 we collect anonymised information such as the pages you visit, how you arrived, your approximate location (country/city level), and your device and browser type.
How we use your data & our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask about — our lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to a request you initiated) and, where relevant, taking steps to enter into a contract.
- To improve our website and marketing — our lawful basis is consent, which you give through our cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we never sell your data.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies to run the site and, with your consent, to measure how it’s used. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only with the service providers we need to operate, each acting under contract on our behalf:
- Google (Analytics) — anonymised website usage measurement.
- Our email and hosting providers — to receive and store enquiry messages and to serve the website.
We may also disclose data where legally required to do so. We do not transfer your data outside the UK/EEA except where a provider offers equivalent safeguards approved under UK GDPR.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to respond and, where a working relationship begins, for the duration of that relationship plus up to six years to meet legal and accounting obligations. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings (up to 14 months). After these periods data is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to our processing
- Request a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these, email contact@mintseo.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls — to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
